The New Yorker's Macy Halford elaborates on the importance of reading and literature during our youth. As an aspiring children's book author I take this very much to heart and am now certain of two things: (1) I owe my parents much praise and recognition (2) if I have a daughter she will not be reading anything by Stephanie Meyer
